Multiple Group Search (or Wildcard)

Could you please create a possibility (or is there already?) to use the "group" field better in the search?
Why isn't it possible to search with * (like "a.b.*.spanish" or "a.b.*.divx") and include multiple group search (like group1,group2,group3)..

It would be great if you enhance the search form a little bit more, as it is the main feature of the service.. ;-)

Generelly: Can we still expect some enhancements or is the current state considered "finished"? ;-) Thanks
