BinTube stores settings such as username and download preferences in the Windows Registry.
To delete these settings from the registry you can use one of two methods:
1/ Using the attached registry script:
- Make sure BinTube is not running. Use the task manager is you have to and make sure there is no process called BinPlayer.exe in the list.
- Download the attached script and save it to your desktop. Double click the file and answer yes to any prompts that ask for confirmation.
2/ Using the Windows regsvr32 program:
- Make sure BinTube is not running. Use the task manager is you have to and make sure there is no process called BinPlayer.exe in the list.
- Type regedit in the Run dialog to open the registry editor.
- Find the key called HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BinTube and delete it.
If you install BinTube Ultimate or BinTube Pro after performing these steps you will need to reenter your log-in credentials and your download preferences.
