BinTube's Usenet streaming feature makes all of the following possible:
1/ Skipping: During streaming you can jump to any part of a video without waiting for all the previous parts to download.
2/ Fully functional DVD menus: When playing back an DVD ISO image, the menu is fully functional and you should be able to jump to any chapter as soon as the download starts.
3/ Bandwidth savings / Data cap friendly:
- During playback, when the download speed limit is set to Automatic (Streaming), the download speed is limited to the amount required by the media being streamed.
- You can skip inside the streamed video or dvd image to watch only the parts you're interested in. If you choose not to keep the files, the skipped parts never get downloaded.
Note: Streaming may not be possible with RAR sets with compression method other than "store". It is however always possible to skip to locations that have already been downloaded.
